Anastasia Shi is an international contemporary artist based in Mexico City whose multidisciplinary practice moves across painting, drawing, ceramics, objects, and performance.

Her work examines emotion, embodiment, identity, memory, vulnerability, ritual, and inner transformation. Abstraction, symbolism, and fragmented figuration create a visual language in which the body and psyche are treated as shifting, interconnected territories.

A multidisciplinary studio practice

Rather than working within a single medium, Shi allows each idea to determine its form. Paint, collage, clay, constructed objects, and performance offer different ways to explore material presence, emotional residue, and the tension between concealment and revelation.
