Anastasia Shi is a Siberian-born artist based in Mexico City whose practice is shaped by an international life across Russia, China, the United States, and Mexico. Working across painting, drawing, objects, ceramics, public art, and occasional performance, she explores the invisible emotional experiences that shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.

Her work combines abstraction, symbolism, and fragmented figuration to give form to ideas that often exist beyond words—memory, perception, identity, transformation, and human connection. Through color, gesture, and material, she creates spaces where the intangible becomes visible.

Shi studied Fine Arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Her work has been exhibited internationally in the United States, Italy, Mexico, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia. Alongside her studio practice, she develops public art projects and selected cross-disciplinary collaborations that extend her visual language beyond the canvas.
